I leave you with a gorgeous maternity image from a few weeks ago

What a lovely pregnancy session we had the other day. This mommy was lucky enough to get a mini session for a stork tea present. I loved how well we worked together. We knew we wanted to get the most out of the 8 or so images I usually edit for a mini session. Since mini sessions dont allow time for clothing changes we even planned for that and she layered clothing, so easy to remove a piece and have a new look. Chip chop we had 8 unique photos (in fact I ended up doing 10). Thanks again for coming.
Here is just a few as sneak peek. There is one I loaded on Facebook for you to share to your profiles.

I’ve been making a few changes in the studio and one of it is that galleries will be handed over with real printed proofs for you to choose from(exceptions for travel etc). Facebook and blog posts of individual photos will follow later when its been settled. From time to time I might share a video sneak peek, and here is the latest maternity session.
Are they not the prettiest couple?
Take care on your flight back to Brazil.

Having a baby is so special and capturing those days on a portrait something you’ll look back on for years to come. On Saturday a gorgeous Mom and her family visited. I was blown away by how beautiful she looked, even more so since this is her second. A mom soon to two princesses. Her family is of course gorgeous too. I loved the fun and spontaneity, thanks for coming!
Here is a few of your session. The first is so natural and I think it really brings out the pregnancy glow, your eyes sparkle and you look so healthy!

Big sister looked ready to give her sister lots of hugs and kisses.

Then another stunning one by the window.

I loved the fun and strong bond so visible between mom and daughter in this one.

When I was told some of the poses would involve yoga I was intrigued. Impressed was completely too tame a word for what I felt when I saw how limber and fit you are.

Last one is of the family and maybe even one of my most favorite. I love the Brazil soccer jersey’s.

Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. Your rough edits gallery as requested will follow soon, there are so so so many good ones, I am glad it is not me that has to decide which ones to choose.

Yesterday a beautiful mom to be came to visit the studio for a mini session. With mini sessions I keep the edited images to about 10 and therefore I won’t be sharing a lot here. One photo we immediately liked. To be me it was so striking and unique and I loved it. I couldnt wait to edit it to be able to show it.
What do you think? Doesn’t the streaks of light just show off her belly’s curves all the more? Striking

Today I had two sessions planned and at first I thought its going to be tough. But boy it was so much fun. It was both, super gorgeous sessions. This mommy was so so so magnificently beautiful, her eyes captivating. I also got to try out more of my backgrounds which I enjoyed.
Enjoy your sneak peek.
I usually ask prospective mommies, or any clients really, to think of the type of photos they find appealing. So when C showed me something on a textured wall I immediately remembered I just got a new background in. I love how it turned out. I won’t try to copy something exactly as my style is different from other photographers. But if something appeals to you we could certainly try to create a similar feel if you wish. So you’ll only see me glance at something you show me or listen briefly at something then nod and know where we are going with it:) I love how this turned out. (now tell me this doesn’t look like a real wall!)

Dad having Mommy in his grip! Haha! They were such a fun couple and suit each other so well. This is a chocolate conversion.

Another of the beautiful baby bump. A blossoming baby bump agains a beautiful blossoming flower.

And one of mommy to be. All of these in colour, because I just could not bring myself to convert them as everyone know by now I really really love colour:)

What will it be? Pink or blue? For now, we’ll just keep the little booties white untill we know whether it’s a boy or girl.

Having a little conversation. Goodbye for now, last of the sneak peek.

We had so much fun today. Mommy and Daddy of this future soccer star had so many ideas and generally we just had lots of fun. They were so natural and the camera loved them. The joy at almost welcoming their little baby boy clearly visible. Hope you enjoy the sneak peek.
First lets say hello to the future soccer star:)

Close up of the soon to be parents. Dont they look so happy and looking forward to this new phase in their lives?

Another one in black and white

Here’s Mommy. Isn’t this new background so lively, I love how vibrant and fun it looks and the red top really shows the lovely baby bump so beautifully.

Mom and Dad having fun and “talking” to baby.

One hears so often that someone blossoms/ glows when pregnant but it has never been more true than for this future Mom. She was so gorgeous and so friendly it was such a pleasurable shoot.
I’ve been telling clients to really look around, see what they like when browsing through magazines. When she arrived she had a very clear picture of what our goal should be for the session. With that in mind, and with my artistic eye, and help with composition we set about having the most perfect session. Having professional photos taken is not an every day occurence and the more the photographer know about you, what you want the better the results will be. After all professional photos is not just anyone with a camera taking pictures, its creating art. (as the recent link on my facebook fan page can attest). Before I go on about this subject too much let me get back to sharing the beauty..
The future mommy, so friendly.

Taking a lie down while she still can. Just joking, I love this black and white

The last two is breathtaking to me. I have been wanting to try this for some time and the afternoon sun came in very handy. The model of course, makes it..

and the last one, almost a silhouette

On Saturday I visited a couple that are anxiously awaiting their baby boy. It was such a fun shoot since they planned it all out and it was quite creative. I really enjoyed it to follow their lead. Without further ado let me show you two photos that they selected for the blog.
I love the first as it incorporates their home in the maternity photos. It looks so relaxed,

The second picture shows so much love, happiness and restfulness. Love for each other and love for the soon to be baby boy still waiting to meet his Mommy and Daddy.

On Wednesday this couple came all the way from Dubai. They told me they were tall but boy was I pleasantly surprised when they arrived. So very tall, beautiful. As some of you know I am not short by any means (1.82m) and I was short compared to them, I was positively in awe. Did I mention how attractive they are? Well I’ll let you be the judge but I am sure you will agree. I cannot wait to meet their little boy he is going to break hearts.
I am not calling this post a sneak peek as they already have their gallery. I made significant changes in my work flow and galleries should now go out super fast and blog posts come after that. Where life happens and I do not manage to do so (sick kids etc), I will post a sneak peek and the galleries will come thereafter as in the past.
Enough postponement, here they are. The first one was Dad’s creativeness. I love the effect. Mom in a hoody.

What a striking picture, it needs no explanation

The new parents to be.

The mommy looking so lovely. I love the polka dots, gives me an idea for the baby pics…

And lastly isnt this the cutest ever! We HAVE to repeat this picture when little baby is here to fill his little shirt.

Yesterday afternoon a super friendly couple came to visit the studio. Thanks so much for letting me take pictures of this special time for you.
I love this dress, you shine and now I understand the saying glowing when pregnant.

I love these two photos together, Mom and Dad and soon to be baby.

Another one of them together.

Mommy in black and white

The last for the sneak peek, flowing fabric and a pregnant belly, a lovely combination.

I love pregnancy and how glowing women become when pregnant. This lovely mummy was certainly now exception. Gorgeous, with a gorgeous family too. They chose all white from clothes to background as they did the exact opposite for their first child. It was something different for me and I enjoyed trying.
I have already shared the photos with them but only getting to the blog post now. Here is the first of the whole family:

And then of mom with big sister,

Lastly big sister starts early having a chat and a kiss with baby sibling. It’ll be a surprise whether its a girl or a boy.

This sneak peek is posted a bit late. The edits was done but I really struggled with uploading. Hope it was worth the wait for you:) At first a bit unsure about the camera, I love how regal and calm you appear later on. The camera loves you!
The parents to be:

Here is a close up of the little surprise coming end June.

Another in blue. Love the bright colours again the black

Mom’s request. I always shoot until I feel we have a reasonable amount of unique poses, or when the children get tired. Then I ask the client if there were anything they particularly wanted to try. Sometimes they bring in their own props and other times, its a pose they saw before on my site or elsewhere. I love this as ultimately its you the client that should exactly what you were looking for. If its reasonable we will achieve it! This pose worked so well. I show it here in the chocolate black and white that I love so much:

Last one for your sneak peek is actually my favorite. The red on black is so striking and I loved how serene you looked her. Distinguised, calm and ready for baby

I had the good fortune to have a second maternity session for the week. Lovely! Such a friendly and relaxed couple all the way from Al Ain. Glad the directions were okay and that you got here safe and sound.
I loved that they brought their own props, had matching outfits and was just such good sports. Here is your sneak peek, hope you enjoy.
First, the blossoming mommy to be, telling us the secret…

Another of mommy. I love sideways pictures to show little bub in all her glory.

Here is one of the chocolate black and white that I love. With (almost) all the hands that will be taking care of her.
