11 months old. I can’t believe it, I saw her last when she was a newborn. How is it possible that time could fly by so fast? She had a fabulous newborn session, see here

Babies 8 months to 16 months maybe even older are all about exploring, they can move, and are starting to discover the world around them. Since they are so precious and their movement new I like to keep the backgrounds plain, and with this session it worked amazingly again. She is so precious and nothing more is necessary. She is starting to stand and walk even and to catch a time or so that she did stand for us were really special. Crwaling pictures are a little tougher because of movement but we manager to capture that as well.

Although she is for the most part a serious baby she broke out in quirky laughs several times, too cute for words!

Here she is, a little serious in this one, adorable and the most beautiful blue eyes.

A black and white of a quirky laugh

Teddy Bear forgotten, I am on the move!

Another black and white, she is perfect in every way.

Earlier the year I got to meet little Miss M. She was a curious princess and she had the prettiest purple flower head band. See here

On Friday I met her again, 4 months had gone by from the previous session. She has grown so much, so friendly and lovely and a very good sitter! She came dressed in tutus, so precious! When I saw a purple flower again I knew what the title of this post is going to be.

Here is two of the little princess, first one in colour. Friendly little girl, I adore the little hand gestures she made.

And one in chocolate black and white convertion.

Thanks again for visiting.

Time is starting to run out on getting the Christmas cards ordered. I’ve finalised all the template purchases. I literally have more than 50 maybe as much as 100 different templates to choose from. All 2010′s templates and of course nothing stops anyone from requesting 2009′s templates.

Use images from past sessions with me, or if own images is of sufficient quality (usually at least 2 megapixels) and good focus, use those. Let me create you a christmas card unique to send out this year. Any wording can be changed. Text could be added where possible.

The cards could be flat cards, like postcards. Each template comes with a back that has the same background. On the back, we can add text with your own message, have a single picture or whatever you can imagine. Flat cards is however not the only way to go, you can also select to have a folded card that resemble the store bought cards, where there is full printing on 4 sides. Front, inside spread and back.

Sizing for cards are anything from 5inch by 5 inch up to 5inch by 7 inch. Printed on card stock, paper texture could be standard, linen texture or pearlised. An ultra shiny UV coating could be applied to the card. They are sold in packs of 25 and comes with envelopes. For the basic flat card of 5×7 size expect to pay from Dhs 300. Discounted prices  for past clients and clients using my images.

Here is a few examples and be sure to check out the slideshow below for even more. I used random images of my own two live-in models to populate the templates but have not change the text. You can customise any wording to suit your own family.

And here is the slideshow of the rest. The direct link for those that use blog readers are slideshow

Cards usually take about 10-14 days to arrive once ordered so be sure to take that into consideration when you order. Leaving it into December will be too late.

.Today’s sneak peek is a bit different from usual, I show in effect far more than usual as I decided to add some storyboards. I also know that her parents love sharing photos so I am sure they won’t mind. (however if you do want any removed D and S, just let me know).

Little Miss M was “talking” up a storm. I would ask her to tell me all about it and she would ooh and aah. I am sure she told me all about the dog, a cat and the car that drove past. I love meeting babies again that I had the fortune to meet just after they were born. She was a natural during her newborn session, see it again here

Here is the little princess, this one was a little bit serious, she is adorable:

This is a comparison of her at, I believe about 9 days and again at 7 months, in the same hat:) Can you see the difference?

While I was changing up the studio a bit, she got a little meal and I couldn’t resist taking photos of how her feet curled up in pleasure.

And then I noticed how she was holding mommie’s hand, so of course I had to take some more pictures.

Little Miss M is a fun and friendly little baby girl and this storyboard proofs it.

The family all together.

Apparently one of her favorite passtimes is standing, even before she can sit for ages. Here she is with Daddy.

And lastly I just had to add this one. I think someone said something about 3 children and well it gave me an idea. If you guys had three together, might it have looked like this?

.

I am back from visiting South Africa and welcoming my new nephew. He is teeny tiny. I fell in love with him at first sight. I am turning into a big ol’ softy as I grow older (yeah I am turning 40 this year so feel I can say that, haha). I get so emosional and are so passionate when it comes to gorgeous little babies. Well anything sweet, anything wonderful.

I am currently finishing up client galleries from just before my trip so will focus on those before I show more of my nephews pics. So here is just one of my handsome nephew, for now.

.Today’s session was so easy! Mom and baby arrived fresh and playful just after a morning nap. Perfect for a 9 month session. Mom knew we didnt have too long before T would becoem tired so we did not bother with tons of clothing changes. In stead we used the maximum time to play with her, from flower petals to bells. We got some stunning photos as a result and it turned into a short and very sweet session. Again I am going to struggle to choose which ones to edit as I will be so spoiled for choice.

You may remember littl Miss T from her 8 weeks shoot here I just realised the title for that one was spoiled for choice, I do believe Miss T is a natural little model:)

A close – up in colour.

Black and white conversion. Miss T is about to crawl..

Side ways – this how it looks when I get ready to crawl. She crawled to mommy.

The little flower girl of the morning

Tummy time, the cute way!

and lastly a black and white close-up

Here is just a very short sneak peek (more in your mail) of the more than usual good photos taken during our session on Saturday. I am definitely going to struggle to know which ones to select to edit, there are just so many. The boys were natural in front of the camera. I even got some friendly and fun ones for the little miss..

Here is the whole family (black and white)

The eldest

The middle

The young.

Three gorgeous children. Thanks again for coming.

For this little boy we took two sessions to get his newborn photos. First we focused on shots of his lovely parents with him and a few days later he was the star of the show. The title of this post is so fitting because this is one little boy that loves cuddles:) Even I got to participate (which I of course love so so much).

His first session was at 10 days and the second at 16 days. He was so tiny that at 16 days he was still smaller than some brand new little ones. Like many boys he did not like to be naked so we focused on just having him happy:)

Isn’t he just so gorgeously cute, all curled up?

Another of the boy of the hour. This is a chocolate black and white conversion

Daddy and his little boy!

Kisses for Mommy. There were such laughter in the studio when Mommy took him as we realised what he just did. We immediately checked out the camera to see if I caught it, and I did. So adorable.

A gorgeous close up

And a black and white of the whole family.

.

It was a week full of birthday’s beginning with my little one’s birthday last week, then Daddy had a birthday and our family has even been blessed with another baby this week too. I can’t wait to meet him. He is the reason I am returning to South Africa for a visit next week.

This week end I decided to spend some bonding time with my two outside. The weather really are so gorgeous come 4pm or so these days so we headed out at about 4h30 when sleepy head woke up. They loved it outside and loved playing in the dust and leaves (I don’t care about a little dirt if children can have fun in the process). My two is not always so in love of the camera so our “photo session” didn’t last too long. Then the camera was packed away and we just had fun. Good thing too we took pictures in the beginning because it was not ten minutes or Mommy was covered in sand all over! Nothing like hugs from a toddler, covered in sand…

Here is a little collage I made of our short session.
