Its not a Wedsnesday but I thought its time to share some snapshots again.

As many of you know for the next 2 weeks Grandma is the most important in this house. Its double, triple bonding time and the only time I edit will be during nap times. We’re also taking her for a quick break to Furjeirah. If you have galleries owing, remember I will reach you I am going down the list one by one. For orders and to extend galleries please contact me via email. I wont be able to do admin from Thursday to Saturday though as we are not available.

I will be doing a summer project that involves tons of photos of grandmom and the girls. Here is some snapshots taken yesterday during play at the park. This photo was taken through the fench:

This lovely couple is now the proud new parents to another girl (now 9 days old). Their house is now full of pink and will definitely be full of joy, glitter, dolls and all things girly for many years to come. Father was such a good sport and got in pink too!

Baby was such a good sport in the beginning but then got tired, it was such a full day really. This one I adore, one of the very few where she is actually sleeping for a split second.

Here is the whole family, all in pink:

Now for one of big sister. A while ago I saw a picture of a fellow photogs child playing with money. I loved it and vowed to try to take one of Erika like that. But I will probably never get one as she never gets hold of my purse (that what happens if your tall mommy always puts her stuff on the tallest places). When I saw this little one like this just waiting for us to take pics of her sister I couldnt help but capture the shot.

Some of the new baby girl. First one in a cocoon

Then one in a tiny basket. This one is the chocolate tint version

Big sis even got to hold her new sibling for a little while

Yesterday I was lucky enough to meet a lovely sweetest little baby girl and her parents. Thank you so much for the privilege to take pictures of your family and little girl. I think she needs a little prize since she is our first  baby from a local family on the blog. I prepared several sneak peek photos and this one is the one chosen by her parents as the one I may show. Isn’t she just totally adorable? The purple flower totally suits her.

Lots of fun was once again to be had in the studio this afternoon, a family of four came all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Little (or I should say big) man was such a lark and some of the photo reflect his fun attitude perfectly. We had to curtail his excitement at times, but I loved how much energy he brought to the session and all of us laughed and had fun because of it.

The whole family together:

I have to show him with attitude for the sneak peek:

Isn’t she a beauty.

Big sister and little brother (okay not so little but I still call my 36 year old brother little brother so I guess it’s just me)

Mother and her two lovelies

Last one for the sneak peek is Daddy with the children.

Wow, what fun! Yesterday afternoon a family of five came to the studio and we tried all kinds of interesting poses. The children came up with new ideas. Here is a few of them.

The family circle:

The burger:

Another family shot. This one was almost at the beginning of the session. Miss F didn’t want to take pictures so I started playing games with her. Here she is hiding behind her family and only peeking out every now and then. That seemed to break the ice and we played some more, had a few whispers and soon she was all smiles.

This one I love, here in black and white. So friendly with each other, very clear these three siblings love each other.

I end the sneak peek with some stunning photos of the little one in the family. She looks grown up though, and soon she will be in big school too. Beautiful

Last two

This  morning was Mr O’s turn to bring a little blue to the studio. This is take 1 because next week I get a chance to take some more when Daddy can join for some family shots. For months I had no boys to photograph and all of a sudden I am spoiled by all the blue! He has such gorgeous brown eyes, the camera loves him. All serious in the beginning and then he became very excited by the bubbles.

Here he is playing with his little lion. The first one is how he “posed” for us a couple times. I know you can’t see any of his face, yet I adore that one.

I love the strong colours of the red and blue on the white in this one.

The following two were also when he was still serious, but look at the attitude. Adorable. The first looks like he wants to tell us quite sternly to pay attention and the second looks like he is putting down his foot (or finger).

When Mommy took out the bubble he was really excited. If he could lift off he would have:) Here is two bubble pictures of pure joy.

Yesterday afternoon a super friendly couple came to visit the studio. Thanks so much for letting me take pictures of this special time for you.

I love this dress, you shine and now I understand the saying glowing when pregnant.

I love these two photos together, Mom and Dad and soon to be baby.

Another one of them together.

Mommy in black and white

The last for the sneak peek, flowing fabric and a pregnant belly, a lovely combination.

What fun to have two gorgeous little boys (and their parents of course) in the studio. I absolutely loved the dances and songs their parents resorted to. So much fun in one family. I am sure there is always tons of giggles in their family. I didn’t know all the songs but I did know a little of “Hot dog, Hot dog, Hot diggidy dog!”

Here are a few photos. Enjoy.

As a start one of them together on a bean bag.

The big brother was so gallant and even said hello Madam with a handshake when they got here. Such a gentleman.

Little brother have such a strong personality and boy oh boy when he smiles he could turn anyone around his little finger.

Together in a basket

Let’s round out the sneak peek with one each of the boys again.  Little brother -

and big brother

Today was one of those days again. A day where the red and white little van stop with lots and lots of “presents”. I just love a visit from Aramex. Each package is very carefully opened with as much anticipation as if it was Christmas Morning and I know I have been a good girl:) And today I got spoiled too so it was extra fun.

First I’d like to show a lovely little product that has been very popular. An cute present for grandparents and also one of the items I usually give as a gift for larger orders. Recently I noticed that the cover options became so extensive and we usually select to have custom photos as covers. However when I saw this shiny fabric in floral design (this is the champagne colour) I knew it would be perfect for my client. It changes design depending on how the light catches it. The workmanship is superb. The one side of the accordion has 4 little panels and the other 6. The little book stays closed by itself since it is magnetic. Its 3 inches by 3 inches in size and therefore convenient to carry in your purse. They also come with slip covers these days that should protect them even further while they are in your purse. We sell them 2 in the first set and thereafter 3 per set.

A picture of the whole set:

A picture of the detailed workmanship:

The next product is another very popular item at the moment and that would be brag books of course. One can do these from as small as 5 inches by 5 inches (12.5cm by 12.5cm) all the way to as big as 12 inch by 12 inches. One can choose to have as little as 10 sides (although 20 sides are included in the price as a start) and could have as much as 50 sides. A page is made up of two sides. I recommend the hinged paged books as it folds flat and showcases your photos to their most. They are press print and therefore resemble coffee table books. These have to be seen to be appreciated. One of my summer projects will be to make a large one of these about our summer in Abu Dhabi.

Here is a picture of a big brag book, all of 12inches by inches

An inside spread:

Detail of the spine (sorry I didn’t realise I’d put the book down upside down)

Detail of hinged pages

And this picture I had to show as I think this is such a brilliant idea. There will soon be a baby in our family and I plan to do something like this for them too. A big brag book for the parents and then two smaller ones for the grandparents. What better way to keep a hold of your memories and be able to have quite a few pictures together.

The last part of the packages that came today (apart from the regular prints and more standouts for other clients) were two stand outs I had ordered for myself. As many of you may know I’d always recommend to go at the very least as big as a 11 by 14 for a wall print. In fact anything smaller than that is not technically called wall prints. I have gone smaller but then would hang 3/4/5/6 pictures together to still get a bigger display. In our houses here in the UAE that have gigantic walls small items just disappear. The smaller sizes could work if you have a specific place all worked out for it, but on an open wall they might appear just plain small. Even though the prints were meant for my staircase I still went for two 11 by 14 prints. They were done on metallic paper and mounted to a 3/4 inch standout. They come ready made with 4 holes in the back conveniently located to hang on a nail.

I absolutely adore these two pictures at the moment and wanted to have it on display as they grow so fast and I know 3 months from now some other pictures would be my favorites. I went for extreme close ups here purposefully as one usually have pictures from further away and I really wanted to remember their little faces perfectly. (I recently had three canvases done. with the same idea behind it.  One of only their hands close up, feet close up and faces together. My way to record this precious stage with them)

Here is a picture from the front:

From the side. Here you can see the way the standout is mounted on black 3/4 inch core.

This last one I down scaled the exposure a little to catch the natural light from the side to show the shine of the print. Metallic prints have an unbelievable shine and vibrant colours, come alive.

Now I am like a little dog waiting wagging tailed for their owner, waiting for my husband to come help me hang the standouts on the wall as I just cannot wait anymore.

6 more stand outs arrived meant for my lovely clients. I will contact you as soon as I have sorted through and packaged up everything.

I love pregnancy and how glowing women become when pregnant. This lovely mummy was certainly now exception. Gorgeous, with a gorgeous family too. They chose all white from clothes to background as they did the exact opposite for their first child. It was something different for me and I enjoyed trying.

I have already shared the photos with them but only getting to the blog post now. Here is the first of the whole family:

And then of mom with big sister,

Lastly big sister starts early having a chat and a kiss with baby sibling. It’ll be a surprise whether its a girl or a boy.
