One of the items on the product list is brag books. These books are press printed and can be for as little as 10 sides (that would be about 5 pages as we know it) or 50 sides (25 pages). Sizing goes from as little as 5 inch by 5 inch (that is 12.5cm by 12.5 cm) all the way to 12inch by 12 inch (30cm by 30cm).
Cover options are vast. There is countless leather options and striking fabric options. Please ask to see the cover swatches. For the book I will feature today we did a custom photo cover. The pages are thicker than normal pages. For the proper coffee table effect I highly recommend the hinged pages, which lay flat when opened, showing your photos at their best. These books should be investments, little memory boxes almost. Don’t just stick a lot of images in there, add some poems and sayings, or more personal letters you may have written your child. A completely unique item.
Follow with us when the physical book is delivered as I plan to do some product photos to post here too. Without further ado, here is a little video presentation of a brag book. This particular brag book were commissioned by loving parents who are proud to share their book on the blog.

Little J is one of my baby steps clients and I love seeing him grow. He has grown so much the last 3 months. He is 6 months now. So friendly and he loves his mommy’s singing. I must say I do too, she has a beautiful singing voice!
I couldn’t decide what looked the best for this one as I adored the black and white, but in the end the colour won:

The next one’s colour is good too but the subtle tones of the black and white really does it for me. When I started my journey in photography I never even considered black and white and now more and more I see so much in it, I sometimes prefer it to the colour. For the longest time my desktop background was a black and white of one of my daughters.
This picture is super special because he was just being there on his tummy, chugging along, kind of okay maybe not necessarily smiling, not paying attention to us that’s for sure. And then his Mommy started singing. And not the usual off key boring “twinkle twinkle little star” that I would do. No, some really impressive, really wonderful melody. I almost lay down the camera to first listen. In an instant he looked up and gave this “smile” such a big smile its almost hysterical, such a classic shot. I love it.
Last one for the short sneak peek, another cute tummy shot

Hi there, I have been quiet. I am catching up on backlog ( and thank goodness have achieved that!) and spending some time with my girls this week. I am not taking sessions really till 1 June as our nanny is on a well deserved vacation.
In this time I have been “away” from the blog I have done some private sessions that chose not to appear on the blog and I have also spend most of my time on processing orders, designing books etc. Hopefully soon I will have some produce pictures of the finished products.
But today, was my eldest’ ballet show. The place was so crowded that we had to climb on top of chairs and tables to get a look at our children. But strangely it added to the fun. I didn’t take many photos as it was very dark.
Here she is in her sunflower glory though.

I did take video too and I have wanted to learn to upload those to the site for some time, maybe this week I should learn how to.

Today is Mothers-day back home. We were invited to be at Bianca’s school for pedicures and snacks. It was a lovely little “party” and they sang us a love song, gave us paper flowers and bracelets.
Afterward we headed to the shops to gear up for Bianca’s birthday party tomorrow. I took some pictures I wanted to share on this day and hope to share maybe this evening. But first there is a hundred things to do. Including a private newborn session this evening.
Although I share most of my sessions on the blog I sometimes have private sessions where a family would rather keep their session private for whatever reason. That is completely doable and I am quite used to it.
So happy Mothers’ day to everyone. Hope you got spoiled rotten!

Little miss L and her family came over today. You may remember the lovely maternity shoot here. I love her hair, such a gorgeous colour and lots of it. She started off fairly sleepy but within a few minutes decided she was awake and not really happy. That will teach us for taking her out of her cosy car seat.
Got a few nice ones non the less. Without further ado here she is:

The brand new family.

Here is Daddy with his princess. She looks so tiny in his hands.

And the two beautiful girls.

Didn’t forget Grandma. Here is Mommy, Daddy and Grandma all with little L. As they said, it must be nice to have three adults catering to your every need.

Yesterday afternoon I was so lucky to meet another friendly little girl. She just as friendly and relaxed as her parents. Her favorite of the session was of course the rose petals…
The first photo for the sneak peek has to be one of her sitting in the petals in the basket.

I tried to mix it up a little and show not only colour but different conversions as well. Here is a chocolate one of the princess. The chocolate really brings out the subtle contrasts in this picture making it something special.

On the chair. If it wasn’t for the petals and the basket, the chair would have been her favorite. She loved climbing on and turning sideways, anything to just have fun.

And another in colour

Daddy had the wonderful idea to throw the petals all over her. She really loved that. Here she is truely enjoying it.

Last one is one with Mommy. I hope Dad forgives me for not placing one of him (well he is in the background though:-)

“Sand, fun and family” if I got it right.
What a fun morning with a beautiful family. A very early morning I might add. We started at 6h45 and it actually was already too hot at the end of the shoot.
I wanted to show several black and whites but the colours was just so amazing that most of your sneak peek is colour. The first is a lovely picture of the two cuties.

My favorite of the family as I love these kinds of pictures. I took some artistic liberties with this one of course. Can you spot the changes?

Mommy and big brother!

Daddy and little sister!

Next is the black and white of the family all together. Good sports, so early in the morning there are sprinklers so the grass wasn’t perfectly dry:)

Here is a close up of the strong big brother.

And of this one of little sister is so gorgeous. Sand , what could be more fun? We never even got to the balloons and bubbles Mom brought along:)

Last one was a complete gem. I never knew I took such a cute pic. They were just standing in the water. It was very bright out and so I couldn’t really check exactly what I got. When I downloaded at home I loved this pic. See – he actually picked her up completely and her feet are out of the water! How cute. I told you he was a strong big brother.

“Obrigado por compartilhar seu tempo comigo.”
