Just a quick post to give an update of what is happening at the studio. At the moment I am working through all outstanding galleries one at a  time. I am happy to say, only 3 more galleries to do then I am all caught up on the regular sessions galleries.

During the following 3 weeks I will be finishing up the school photos, and then process them. From 3rd of Feb some regular sessions will start again, yet their editing will wait just a week or so for me to finalise the school photos.

I am also ordering calendars for several clients. I love them, mounted on magnets to be readily handy on the fridge (8×10 size). If any past clients would love such an item let me know, I can mock you up one for you to see.

Today was such a treat. Lots of the sample’s & products I’ve ordered arrived. I love that there are so many different things you can do with your precious photos. I personally enjoy surrounding myself with pictures of my family.

All of these could be ordered for your own sessions too. If you don’t see something you want on the price list, just ask. I enjoy a challenge and will try my utmost to find and source you the product you want.

Here are a few of the items I received today (please excuse the poor product photography, not my forte and these were basically snapshots).

This was a present to a very dear friend. Its a large canvas, 20 inches by 24 inches (50cm by 60cm). It has a glossy front with very vivid colours, 1.5inches gallery wrap image. I could hardly wait to give it to her. I think I must have been Father Christmas in a previous life as I truely enjoy giving presents! Seeing this large canvas, it inspires me to get one of my own as well. My measly 16inch by 20inch looks positively tiny next to this one.

On our fridge is a very handy calender mounted on fridge magnet. Unfortunately I did not take a picture but you get the idea.

Some more fun items were presents for Bianca. First a stainless steel mug with her own picture on it. She now wants to take it to school, hmm will have to think about that one. The picture is blended into the stainless steel and have a strong metallic look to it. gorgeous

and a puzzle with her and grandma. Its a little difficult, a 48 piece puzzle with fabric on top.

Last but certainly not least is a wonderful product that I am sure will be greatly appreciated by clients. Printed on chromalux panels. The closest I can explain is that it is hard black acrylic.

I got a sample for the studio that is an 8 by 10 inch picture. The panel has an easle fastened to it at the back. So you can display it immediately. Perfect for husbands’ desks at work, or your own!

The other item was also chromalux panels but this time two 5 by 7 sized panels cut in an arch shape and fastened to each other with a hinge. I got this for my husband’s desk at work of the two girls.

This week’s post about something I have a special place in my heart for, is:

.

This is a mini sneak peek again. I’m placing some fun shots, the rest that I wanted to show will follow tomorrow. We took the girls out this afternoon so the editing had to wait.

I love this one of the C girls playing in the sand. There was so much playing going on that it was difficult to get anyone looking at me. There is some gorgeous ones nevertheless. They enjoyed themselves and that’s the most important.

The little man on the beach

And the very beautiful mom.

Here is the rest as promised. First a family photo.

Big sis M

Here is just one of a series of pictures of Dad playing with the kiddo’s. Doesn’t she look so happy?

And lastly one in the playground

5 Beautiful and friendly people, makes for 5 times happiness. It was a pleasure to take your photos and I loved seeing and experiencing the lovely natural way you interact with each other. I felt right at home.

I edited about 9 pictures for your sneak peek, but some how my photoshop is now completely frozen. Making it impossible for me to add the watermark and downsize for the web. Luckily the first one was saved before the problem.

Please check back on Sunday for the rest of the photos!

Luckily the first was the family photo. What an amazing family!

Here is the rest of your sneak peek. Mom and Daughter

Dad and Mr Q

Mom got L to smile a bit!

I caught this one outside while they were playing, no one knew what he was doing. I couldn’t wait to get back home to see how it looks on the screen.

This one I love for so many reasons, the love so clearly visible. I also love the golden rays of the sun, actually visible in quite a few of the photos, who knew early in the morning the sun could give such a warm glow.

What’s more fun to cuddle and read with mom? The twins loved it.

See, I’m a cowboy with a gun in my hand and a special cowboy hat on:)

He had so much fun going up and down his little slide I had to catch that spontaneous smile when he landed at the bottom.

Today little Miss S came to visit with her family. Having the shoot in the studio was such a good idea, it was afternoon and usually its dark in houses at that stage, but in the studio – perfect light. There were so many special ones the sneak peek is a large share!

Miss S was super sweet and slept like a little champ, making it easy to take some once in a lifetime pictures.

Honestly I love  my job, isn’t she just perfect?

All curled up.

With her own beautiful blanket.

Hmmm, wonder what she’s thinking.

R giving his little sister a kiss.

Mom and Dad with the latest addition to their family.

I took this one a while ago during a play date at my house, Only took about 3 pics and this one I immediately knew could be special.

I couldn’t wait to take pictures of little Miss I. Her mommy is my best friend and I’ve wanted to take her pictures since before she was born. With them being away and then me having an extended holiday also, today was the first time we could arrange it. It was such a pleasure, she was a sweetie. Already 107 days old. Its goes much too fast, that’s for sure.

Here is a sneak peek so long of the tiny sister, I just took some pics of big sister and will add another sneak peek pic this evening.

Her first butterfly wing photo. Any girl wants wings!

I loved how serious she were.

There’s a smile!

One with mommy. Very happy and contented to be sleeping a little. Poor thing had an eventful day, after the photos came the doctors!

I adore this photo. She loves her fingers at the moment and what could be more beautiful than those eyes!

Lastly a sleepy picture.

And now for some of big sis E.

The scarf and the fan were great fun.

Telling us who she loves, from her sister to her Daddy, Mommy and a teacher!

And since its friends, I allowed my two to come have a look today and intrude a tiny bit. Here is Bianca with E

And Erika this morning after little miss I fell asleep and we called it a day.

Today I had the honour to meet the G family. Their friendliness and lovely personalities was just as lovely as they were attractive. So easy to photograph and a lot of fun to be around. Thank you for showing me the gardens, I enjoyed it.  The boys were super. I captured so many beautiful smiles and quirky playfulness that I am having a hard time selecting which photos to edit!

Here are your sneak peek, enjoy:

The whole family. This one was on a very wet bench, yet Mom and Dad didn’t even bat an eyelid:) Good sports.

Some of each boy alone.

My secret how I got him to laugh so nicely. They were so fun, played along nicely.

Look at this very “reserved”  hug. Ha ha, only boys. They were silly and enjoying themselves.

Had to get one (or two) of Mom and Dad too.

Lastly for your sneak peek. Here are the “hide-and-seek photos.

Today two lovely South Africans came to visit for their maternity photos. It was fun. With two such lovely easygoing parents, this little boy is going to love life! When I edited your photos I thought, hmm, both green eyes, I bet the boy will have the most beautiful green eyes. Can I say beautiful when I speak about a “man”. I think I can.

Enjoy your sneak peek. Take care for the last 3 weeks!

The gorgeous mommy.

Hallo there little one. He was doing the strangest things in there during our session. At one point I saw a big bump moving from way out in front of them!

Striking red on black!

Yesterday late afternoon I got to meet little miss G. She was such a beauty. Poor thing had a little bit of colic, but even then she was so gracious. She was uncomfortable yet didn’t scream loudly and boisterously, she did so demurely. She was due on Christmas day, but came a little early so here she is a little older than usual. According to my calculations she should be about a week away from a month?

I am placing a super short sneak peek for just now – only two pictures. I will add more to this sneak peek late this evening. Just had to share this one so long.

Isn’t she cute?

And this one, with a little magic:

And as promised the rest of your sneak peek:

One with Mom and Dad

Who can resist this little mouth. Melts your heart

She is looking so intently at Daddy, hanging on his every word. Oy boy, just you wait one day soon she is going to turn him around her little finger.

Last one, for your sneak peek.  All together.

Not many words today,  just sharing some personal pictures while playing with my new background paper. Today is Bianca’s first ballet class after being away far too long from it.

“Hi mommy, I wanna pretend I am not even here, or you are not even here”

“And what will you be doing in your imagination then?”

“I think I am flying away”

“and I think I am sitting in Grandma’s arms and she is telling me a story”

I met a lovely couple today. Thanks for coming, I enjoyed your friendly nature and  felt relaxed during our session. I am so excited for you about your little girl that might be here as soon as next week.

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek, take care and good luck with baby.

Aren’t they gorgeous. This baby has got to be a beauty!

I always love seeing moms connect with their new baby’s, its one of my favorite poses to capture.

A truly glowing mom.

And lastly, for your sneak peek:
