Well, it’s been a rush but everyone has their galleries (except one newborn that I said I’ll do in the new year), everyone’s orders so far have been done.
We are off to South Africa in about 90 minutes. Well, that’s to say the Limo service is picking us up at 7pm. I am quite excited to visit my parents again. They adore the children and the children adore them.
I have no idea how much I will be able to be on-line since things work a bit differently in South Africa. There is still one collage to make, and I’ll be waiting for any orders up to 24/5 Nov. Then after that we are off to Jeffrey’s bay. Well known for their surfing.
So watch out I might just come and post some surfing photos, that’s if they surf close enough to shore:)
If I don’t manage to check in before then, very Merry Christmas to everyone!

Have I ever mentioned how much i like doing newborn sessions? They have a special place in my heart. I could be around tiny babies the whole day! I love that I always get to hold and cuddle as well!
Little Miss H was so tiny to me since she was smaller than my own children were and I’ve been doing boy newborns, so she has so far been the smallest little model.
I am in love with the photos, and hope you will be too. I edited you a whole lot for sneak peek since you will most probably be waiting some time for your gallery.
Isn’t she the most precious little girl!

Look at those tiny feet!

With Mommy! I would have loved to have had such a pic of Erika (and Bianca too of course). Those little lips open in wonderful sleep. It really brings back memories. So sweet.

These chairs are beautiful, so obviously she had to model them for us.

In this one as you can still see all the little baby hair, really showing how new she is. I remember once more how hairy little Erika was. They grow so fast and before you know it, the baby fuzz is gone.

Close up of the little cutie.

Little G tried to give small sis a kiss. She however wanted to sleep:)

And lastly for your sneak peek, Daddy and G

Today a little princess came to visit the studio. She first enjoyed the playroom and then we headed upstairs. Good sport at first and then she decided she has had enough. Don’t worry you can come again and play to hearts content.
My favorites are where she jumps on mommy’s tummy and looks to see if she can spot the fairies in the camera.
Enjoy your sneak peek. I will be in contact soon to hand over the gallery.
Here is a fun one, one of the first where she was playing peek a boo. She soon let out some smiles. I like this one because mommy is so beautiful and you can also see the love of this family.

Lovely family photos

Having fun sitting in the chair. I believe its the jack in the box entertaining her here:)

Some more Jack in a box fun!

My favorite of your sneak peek’s. Here she is searching for the fairy in the camera.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing little Mr S and his family. You might remember the beautiful maternity session here.
It was a super duper long session as we tried our very best to get him to sleep. He was not fussy at all, just not in the mood to sleep. Awake the whole 3 hours I was there:) We might not have gotten the ones we planned, but we got some gorgeous ones.
I was pretty productive this evening so you get to have lots for your sneak peek! Enjoy!
I absolutely adore this one. The blue fluffy hat and cocoon was made by a friend of mine, and she has a facebook shop, go search for her if you like her work and would like something likewise Sassy Design.

And this is the cocoon :

Another with the gorgeous hat. I love his little expression, not a pretty expression but oh so cute for it. “What ya doin??”

Then I had to place this beautiful one of mom and son.

And a condensed version of quite a few others:

Thank you for having me in your home. Enjoy your sneak peek.

We had a quick mini session this afternoon. Little N was just looking at me with that gorgeous big brown eyes. She loosened up a bit while Mom and Grandma sang to her. Round and Round she danced, so demurely. Gracious and slowly.
I love this one where her big brown inquisitive and curious eyes, just want to draw you in.

And one where she is dancing a little bit. Cutie pie!

It must be baby season because I had another wonderful mommy to take pictures of. I loved the Yummy Mummy t-shirt, should have taken pictures of it! (Maybe next time?)
It was such a pleasure to have another South African mommy at the studio. Ms M played so nicely with Erika while we got to “play” with poses upstairs. We had a shorter than usual session since she was a natural model and we got all our pictures in only a few clicks!
Here is your sneak peek, hope you enjoy it.
This one I absolutely adore. Little Ms M came upstairs with “Mommy, what ya doing?” It sounded so funny like she is checking up on Mommy. I caught the natural smile from Mommy, and does she look maybe just a little bit like she has been “caught out” by M?

What a beautiful belly.

Here Mommy was talking to the new baby. How I wonder whether its going to be a boy or girl. Can’t wait to use my little newborn wool hats!

Love the play with light in this one. With the belly to the darker side it looks like the baby is being protected from the harsh light.

Today I had the good fortune to meet and take pictures of a lovely family. I have been looking forward to this for some time, as the poor beauties were sick the previous time we had planned to do the shoot. Today they were all better, but unfortunately a little shy for a camera. The fairies clapped hands and we sang. It worked a little and I got some really beautiful ones in between.
Its not always necessary for a smile to have a beautiful picture and I am sure this sneak peek will show that. The two little miss K’s have such beautiful and perfect skin it was a pleasure to edit these pictures.
I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
Hmm, I wonder what is that thing? – She was a little unsure of the camera at first.

More fun if I get to sit by Mommy.

Outside we tried to get them together but unfortunately that didn’t work so well. I have the same with my own daughters. Not to worry, when they are older there will be lots of times to get them smiling together. For now if they are happy that’s the most important. I just love the expression on littlest Ms K’s face, while big sis looks so serene.

And lastly for your sneak peek, who can resist such a happy girl when she is with Daddy.

I almost forgot that I edited this one too. I would have liked to know what story she is telling Mommy.

These storyboards came a while ago and since I’ve told many of you and everyone wants to see them, I thought I’d post some pictures. I love how sturdy the standout makes the print. They can easily be “hung”/ fixed to walls or where ever using plain double sided tape or squares. For one in my studio I used the removable squares. Should I want to move it, change it up it will be easy to do. For the ones on the girls doors, I used heavy duty double sided tape. There is no way its coming off soon.
The girls adore them, so proud of their rooms. Bianca shows all her friends that come to visit and Erika can’t pass by without stopping, pointing and telling me the longest story! Don’t know what she says, but it seems quite animated.
This is how they look, first Bianca then Erika’s

And this is how it looks on the door. Excuse the poor picture, taken with the point and shoot, while the kids were trying to take the picture themselves:)
